Students are offered practical real world financial skills through the engaging Richard Myles Johnson Foundation (RMJF) program, called Bite of Reality.

This financial literacy program is a one-time, two-hour program that immerses students in life lessons designed around budgeting, by way of an app-based simulation. During this program, students are given a fake life, complete with bills, a job, and various expenses. They participate in a shopping experience which represents life necessities such as housing, transportation, and food.

Through this engaging activity, students gain insight into managing a budget and making smart financial choices. This program takes place in a high school gym or student union center and is designed for 125 to 250 students.
