New Online Banking & Mobile App

Sierra Central Credit Union is upgrading our Online and Mobile Banking platform. This upgrade is part of our commitment to provide you with a faster, easier, and more secure digital banking experience.

If you are having trouble getting logged in for the first time, you can visit your local branch between 9 AM - 5:30 PM (Mon-Thur) and 9AM - 6 PM (Fri) or call Member Services at 800-222-7228. They have extended hours to assist members during the digital transition and are available 7 AM - 7 PM (Mon-Thur) and 9 AM - 2 PM (Sat & Sun).

As apps become more advanced, they rely on newer features and stronger security tools that come from updated phone operating systems. If a device is no longer receiving operating system updates from the manufacturer, it may not have the modern software needed to support the app.

Does this mean something is wrong with my phone?
Not at all. Your phone can still work perfectly well for many tasks. It just may not be able to run newer apps that need the latest operating system features to function safely and reliably.

Why do mobile banking apps require newer operating systems?
Banking apps must meet high security and performance standards to protect your financial information.

Yes, there will be a short downtime during the transition. Online Banking and the Sierra Central Mobile App will be unavailable during this transition February 8-10, 2026. Other banking options available include: visiting your local branch, ATMs, Members Services & Virtual Branch 800-222-7228.

No. You’ll simply verify your identity using your current Online Banking User ID, some personal details, and confirm your phone number and email address for security. This ensures you can receive multi-factor authentication codes. For Business Members you will need to know your EIN.

Yes! Your balances, transaction history, and basic settings will move to the new system. Note: Some personalized features, like custom alerts, may need to be set up again after launch.
