Important Security Alert for Members
Scammers may attempt to contact members by phone, email, or text and falsely claim they are calling on behalf of Sierra Central Credit Union. These individuals may attempt to collect sensitive information, including Online Banking login credentials, Social Security number, date of birth, account information, or other personal details. They may also request payments related to loan protection coverage.
Please remember:
- Never provide personal information, account details, passwords, or verification codes to anyone who contacts you unexpectedly.
- Do not make payments or provide information in response to unsolicited requests.
- If you receive a suspicious call, email, or text claiming to be from Sierra Central Credit Union or referencing your loan protection coverage, do not engage with the sender. Hang up and contact us directly at 800-222-7228 or drop by your local branch.
We encourage all members to remain vigilant by carefully reviewing unexpected communications and monitoring financial accounts and credit reports for any suspicious activity.
