Those who "refer" will receive a reward email once the reward is processed and delivered. Rewards go into processing once the referred account "friend" has met the requirements, then within 2-3 weeks both parties receive the Reward Email.

When you register at SierraCentral.com/refer, you simply can share your unique referral link on social media or send it in an email or text message. We'll take it from there!

Your reward typically arrives 2-3 weeks after meeting all program requirements.

You and the friends and family members you refer must be 18-years-old and meet the Refer-A-Friend eligibility requirements. Anyone you refer will be considered ineligible if they have had a personal Checking account with Sierra Central in the last 12 months or are already Sierra Central members. You can refer as many friends and family members as you want, but you can only receive a maximum of $500 in referral rewards, per calendar year. People you refer can only receive one $100 VISA Digital Reward Card once they open their account and meet all program requirements. * Eligible checking accounts include Youth Choice, Choice, Select, or Prime. In order to receive your Reward Card, the person you refer simply needs to register for the Refer-A-Friend program and open a new Sierra Central Credit Union personal Checking account and completes the following within 90 days of account opening: • Complete direct deposits totaling $3,000 or more, AND • Complete 30 debit card transactions (excluding ATM transactions), AND • Enroll in Online Banking, AND • Enroll in EStatements, AND • Keep the account open for at least 90 days * Eligible checking accounts include Youth Choice, Choice, Select, or Prime. Have friends and family you'd like to refer? Begin by registering at SierraCentral.com/refer. You'll receive a unique referral link to share with anyone you want. The unique link will take them to a simple form to register for the offer. Once they open a qualifying account and have satisfied all program requirements, you'll be issued your $100 VISA Digital Reward Card(s). Please note: Digital reward cards typically arrive within 2-3 weeks.

Refer-A-Friend is a great way to share the benefits of banking with Sierra Central Credit Union. Your friends and family member can receive a $100 VISA Digital Reward Card when they register, open a new personal Checking account, and meet the program requirements. As the referrer, you can receive up to $500 in VISA Digital Rewards cards, per calendar year. That's $100 for each of your referrals (up to 5) who registers, opens a new checking account, and meets program requirements.

No. This program is only offered on qualifying personal Checking accounts.

This program is separate from any other promotion that Sierra Central may have going on.

If someone happened to be independently referred by two different people, they would receive two emails (one for each independent referral). The referred person can only get one reward, however. The first referrer whose referral link was used to register for the offer would be paid as the referrer.
