External Transfers

‍You must be an owner or authorized signer on any account you intend to use for External Transfers.

External Transfers initiated through this service require the submission of accurate account and routing information. Sierra Central Credit Union (“SCCU”) may verify your external account and confirm your identity using commercially available verification methods, which may include information obtained from public records, other financial institutions, and consumer reporting agencies.

All external transfers are subject to the terms, conditions, and regulations governing your accounts at the other financial institution, including any transfer or withdrawal limitations applicable to savings accounts. External transfers may also be subject to fees assessed by the other financial institution. SCCU is not responsible for any fees, delays, restrictions, or losses resulting from actions taken by the receiving or sending financial institution.

External transfers typically require a minimum of two (2) business days to process; however, processing times may vary depending on the receiving institution’s procedures, transfer limits, verification requirements, and other factors outside SCCU’s control.
