Authorized User Access and Management

If you choose to add additional users to your Sierra Central Credit Union(“SCCU”) Online Banking services (“Services”), you are responsible for managing their access. This includes adding new users, assigning or modifying their permissions, and removing users who should no longer have access.

You agree that you will not share your online banking username, password, authentication credentials, or security codes with any person for any reason. Sharing your login credentials is strictly prohibited and may result in suspension or termination of your Online Banking access. If you voluntarily provide your credentials to another person, you assume all responsibility for any resulting activity, whether authorized or unauthorized, and SCCU will not be liable for losses that occur as a result of such credential sharing.

By adding or authorizing a user through the Services, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Any user you grant access to is fully authorized by you to view account information and perform the transactions or functions you permit within the Services.
  • All actions taken by an added user will be treated as actions authorized by you, and SCCU will rely on the permissions you assign when processing transactions or providing access.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that all user access and permissions are appropriate for the individual(s) you authorize.
  • You must remove or update access promptly if a user should no longer have access or if their level of access needs to change.
  • SCCU may rely on all instructions and activity performed by any authorized user until you update or revoke that user’s access within the Services and SCCU has had reasonable time to process such changes.
  • You remain fully responsible for all transactions performed by any user you authorize, even if the activity exceeds the user’s internal authority or your intended scope of permission.

SCCU reserves the right to limit, restrict, or suspend user access at anytime if necessary for security, operational, or regulatory reasons, including but not limited to situations involving credential sharing or unsafe account practices.
