Anderson – Sierra Central
Anderson California is a city in Shasta County California, approximately 10 miles south of Redding, California. Anderson, California is named after Elias Anderson, a ranch owner, who owned the largest land grant in the vicinity. Railroad activity came to the area in 1872 and Elias Anderson granted the Oregon and California Railroad track rights and land for a railroad station. The Anderson River Park sits on part of the original land grant owned by Anderson.
With the main industry in Anderson, California being lumber up until a few years ago. It is now well known for the many retail stores including Shasta Outlets and a new Walmart Super Center located across the street from the Shasta Outlets. Our newest Sierra Central branch location opened in November 2016 is located between the Walmart Super Center and Shasta Outlet stores.
Our hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 9 AM to 5:30 PM and Fridays from 9 AM to 6 PM.
Our Anderson branch location also includes a 24-hour Full Service Automatic Teller Machine, also called an ATM.
